Missing Reachelle Smith, Update

KXMC-TV, the CBS affiliate in Minot, North Dakota released the following update on the Reachelle Smith case yesterday:

[Ward County officials are planning to use horses this weekend to continue searching for 3-year-old Reachelle Smith.

Deputy Kevin Nelson says he's hoping to get more than 200 horses involved in a search of as many county and township roads as possible.

Searches so far have turned up no sign of the youngster, who's been missing for two weeks.

Minot Police Captain Al Hanson says most of the ground in the city has been searched more than once, and more searches are unlikely unless a lead develops.

Hanson says police are still getting help from F-B-I behavioral scientists and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He says that group is mailing out nearly 31-thousand fliers within a 25-mile radius of Minot.

Nelson says the lack of leads is frustrating, but no one is thinking of giving up.]
