Ruthie On The Road, Update

I stood there on that ramp that leads north out of Idaho Falls and a State trooper stopped and told me to walk or get arrested.

I considered my options.

Then I told him what I thought of him, picked up my bag and limped up onto the interstate.

Every step hurt like hell [I've been having problems with my left foot] and finally a woman [born in Alaska!] stopped and picked me up. She drove me all the way to Lima, Montana before she turned around and drove back to Idaho.

Then I walked up the ramp and stuck out my thumb.

Because in Montana nobody cares what you do on the interstate.

Why should they?
