Five Women Shot In Chicago Today

To the man who shot five women
to death in Chicago today:

Isn't it a pity...
Isn't it a shame
How you broke so many hearts
And created so much pain
How you took those women's lives
Without thinking anymore
Like a soldier in a war...
Isn't it a pity?

Some things take so long...
But when will you explain
Why your evil grew so strong
That it closed your heart
and brain?
How did you shut your ears
To what your eyes just wouldn't see
You just left them there to bleed...
Isn't it a pity?
