What do you think of the guy who just shot the policeman in Waldeport? Any possible connection to Kyron?

Ruthie In The Sky said...

Well, pardon me for turning the question around, siriunsun, but do YOU think he's related to Kyron's whereabouts right now?

Ruthie In The Sky said...

Are you trying to tell me something, siriunsun, or just speculating?

I am speculating. And no need to ask pardon for turning the question around; if I were on the task force, I would be asking that question and looking for an answer.

siriunsun said...

......the last comment was mine; logging in was difficult for some reason.

Ruthie In The Sky said...

Okay, siriunsun, why do you think that the task force should consider the Waldport shooter to be connected to the Kyron Horman case?

Ruthie In The Sky said...

OHHHH...(reading article) You mean because of his tie to Suavie Island?

And now there's THIS

siriunsun said...

Yes. His tie to Sauvie Island. But also his timeline of erratic behavior. I admit that I may seem suspicious of people who drive around with loaded weapons on the passenger seats of their vehicles,(please pardon my sarcasm, I simply don't like carelessness with guns)but if I were a cop in that area, I would want to rule out all of the possibilities and find out who else he was spending time with over the past 7 or 8 months.

Ruthie In The Sky said...

How do you know that he rides around with a loaded weapon on the seat of his vehicle?
Yes, I understand what you mean about the timeline.
But what else, besides the Island and the weapon on the seat would tie him to Kyron?
He has no history of pedophilia (not from an officially recorded standpoint, anyway) but he is a survivalist.
Is there any possible way that he could have been in cahoots with Terri Horman?

Well......riding around with a loaded weapon....I admit that I am making an assumption here, but I do not even possess the manuel dexterity to make a cell phone call while driving, let alone load any type of magazine or clip and actually load a gun while driving, so it looks very much to me like this guy's weapon was already in the seat beside him and loaded. And then, when I get pulled over for a traffic citation, I usually just sign the ticket and leave. If I disagree, I just go to court....no need to shoot the policeman! While Durham very well may be nuts, there are plenty of people out there who are mentally ill who get speeding tickets or interact with cops for other reasons and never shoot at them, so I think a good look at Durham's recent past may be a good idea. The behavior may be that of a crazy person, but I really think that most people who are paranoid of law enforcement, enough to try to kill cops, are also involved in criminal activities. I'm suggesting that it's not "paranoia".

As for a tie to Terri, or any family member of Kyron's, I don't know. He's in the same age group as a lot of parents of kids in the age groups of Kyron and his siblings, and could have blended in easily at the school during the science fair. But that is just speculation. And since Terri hasn't said much of anything, I don't think anyone really knows who all of her friends and associates actually were.

Obviously, you prefer to remain anonymous. That is something that I will respect. However, it appears to me that you may be from the East Coast. I just wondered.
Okay, I got a good photo of Durham from KATU. I keep reading that he broke up with someone. Who?
Also he was a landscaper at one point. Could he have been doing that type of work on June 4? Like, somewhere near Skyline?
So you are saying that Durham may have been highly afraid of being stopped the other day and that is why he overreacted the way he did?
But his family keeps saying that Durham's behavior is linked to some pain medication that he started taking months ago.
Oh, I think that the FBI knows who is linked to Teri...pretty much, anyway. But the investigation IS ongoing...
If Durham WAS at the science fair then did he go alone? Have a kid with him? Or was he, like I wrote earlier, working on landscaping somewhere near the school?

Ruthie In The Sky said...

Is he mad at someone? Is he bearing an old grudge? He doesn't like cops. Tony Young is a cop. And Tony is Kyron's step dad.
Was Durham, originally planning on going to do some serious shooting at some people or someone the other day? (I mean other than shooting the cop) Did the cop interrupt a serious mission that Durham really didn't want interrupted?
Could Durham have had a van around Skyline school on June 4?
Does Durham spend time on the Internet?

siriunsun said...

Yes, I am from the East coast...Washington DC. It looks as if the crazy cop shooter has gotton away for now. The whole concept of pain medication causing a man to violate the law concerning the proper transport and use of firearms is curious, though. I really don't buy it. I hope he is apprehended before he hurts anyone else.

Ruthie In The Sky said...

Yes, siriunsun, I hope that he is caught, too. He doesn't need to hurt anyone else. He's already busy hurting himself. I'm very familiar with the area that he is runing around in. Or has been. I hope that he gets capured alive if he knows anything about Kyron's whereabouts. BTW, what brought you to my blog in the first place? Have you ever heard of Marion, Virginia?

siriunsun said...

Marion? That's in the southwestern end of the state! Va. is a very pretty state. I looked at your blog because of your comments about Kyron Horman. I would love to see him finally come home, safe.

Then there is the fact that the police scaled back the hunt for David, and began a search with cadaver dogs in an area to the west of Sauvies island, and David was a landscaper, and the police never named the landscaper that Terri Horman allegedly tried to hire to kill her husband. Just my conjecture, but it sounds like the police have put some clues together.

Well then, who is
THIS GUY ?
