Steve Jobs: His Last Lesson

"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." --Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs is dead at fifty-six. That is the same age that I am, now.

And it is making ME think.

When someone dies at the age that I am, it reminds me of my own mortality. And a voice from over my shoulder whispers, "Live! Ruthie Live!"

I will remember the words that Steve Jobs spoke during that speech in 2005. I will remember them for the rest of MY life.

Rest in peace, genius man.
