Craig Newcomer: Update

Update 8/3/2012: Caseload Bigger Than The Lies?

Public Opinion Online: Pretrial Information

The Story (Background)

You've heard the phrase, "bag and tag"?

Well, this fiasco is more like a "Craig and bag."

And if the law is eventually going to link to a lie, then why even proceed with a trial, at all?

If this situation didn't involve a human being, I'd declare it a small-town hoot and forget it.

But what happened does involve a human being...and a litany of excuses...that I feel have nothing
to do with God.

And I now know far more about this case than I am being given credit for.

My friend Juli focuses some of her blog on Christian hypocrisy. She does a good job of pinning so-called "saints" to the shyster board.

And she'd just love you, Craig. Yes, she would.

Question: if Craig Newcomer is such a protestant Christian, why does he go to bars on a regular basis? I understand his efforts at shelters, but the homeless will find him without looking for him in a bar. There really isn't much to find in a bar besides alcohol, drunks, and all too often, trouble. And if a drunken brawl starts, the best thing to do is get the hell out of there, not stay and fight, and pound the crap out of someone who is too drunk to fight back. If I were one of the shelter clients, I might be too afraid of Newcomer to accept his help. People with anger management issues are scary.

Oh......I forgot to mention one thing: I used to live in that neck of the woods, and the Eastern Panhandle of WV is chok full of stripper bars. MD and PA are much more strict about stripper bars, but in WV, they are everywhere. Why does Newcomer go to WV to barhop?

Oh, but you see, Juli...Craig believes that his actions were delivered with a "righteous" fist.
And that his choice to go to the strip club and the bar was a "righteous" decision.

The truth is that he had no business going to either one of those places. Nothing happened at the strip club or the bar, that night, that made any of God's angels sing. That's because Craig did the wrong thing.

You would think that Craig would be willing to admit that fact, by now.

Craig went to West Virginia to "barhop" because he likes to spread his sanctimonious stupidity around.

And By God, didn't he do a great job?

People who get violent in the name of Jesus really scare me, Ruthie. If he did that stone cold sober, how long will it take for him to get charged with domestic violence or abuse? Are there any New Testament stories about Jesus punching people in the face?

It must be a slow day at your meth lab.

Your comment is missing words and many of the words that you HAVE used are misspelled. You're an idiot.

Strip clubs are for perverts and losers.
