No Sweet Sheriff At "The Sugar Shack"

The video, posted above, was created on the night that the incident happened to me. And the experience of shivering in the darkness, near a forest, in an unfamiliar place, will remain in my memory.

The ordeal is being discussed, officially, at this time.

That was scary. What a creep! Stay safe brave Ruthie.

That is exactly what I intend to do.
Because my cell phone did not have a signal, in that location, that night, I was unable to rain down Hell on Harry (or whatever his name is).
However, since that time, I have made my voice known. And I am going to protect my rights on the rest of this trip.
I now know that my friends, my laptop, my cell phone and my ability to write well...are my greatest tools on the road.

Ruthie, that was scary. You are correct, that cop had no right to handcuff you. And you are right, anything could have happened. Ruthie, stay safe and smart, girl.Keep writing and also document these events and people out there. It is the way to stay safe and protect your rights. What is read by us, your friends, can't be un-read and it is documented for all time. Stay safe, be smart and know we are reading and following you with admiration and care. Carolyn

What concerns me most of all, Carolyn, is the fact that someone (male or female) less sharp than me, could have been put in a very dangerous position by that pathetic excuse of an officer.
I wonder if this has happened before. And I wonder if someone could have ended up missing after a "meeting" with that deputy.
He is bad ju-ju and yes, Carolyn, I do read between the lines.
