THEY ARE ANGELS NOW

CBS NEWS: PHOTOS OF THE CONNECTICUT SHOOTING VICTIMS

The headline, in this morning's "Oregonian" newspaper, asked this question, in big, bold type: "ARE THEY WITH THE ANGELS, NOW?"

I believe every innocent person who became a victim of last week's shootings, was delivered with absolute mercy and perfect love to God...by angels.

But what is bothering me now, among other things, is the fact that those shooters weren't caught in a struggle acquiring every day, basic human needs. Nope, they weren't.

They had everything...from my point of view.

If those shooters were hungry, they ate. If they were tired, they slept. If they were cold, they stayed
home and kept warm.

Life was so easy for them.

All that material security did nothing to make them better human beings. In fact, by Third World
standards, they were coddled into becoming criminals.

And now I don't want to hear about their supposed "deep-seated, mental health issues."  Such an excuse means nothing to me or to anyone else who is stunned by this latest double-tragedy.
