Ruthie On The Road In Pictures--Part Two

                                            -ALL PHOTOS/EDITS BY RUTH RADER-

Phil drove me out of Quincy, Illinois and we went looking for a place for me to dream.
We drove past big farms, old barns and wide fields before we found the cottage.

One look and I knew that the cottage is nestled in a very special place.

Here are some photographs that I took while I stayed there:

There were fragrant lilac bushes, swaying in the breeze and I said, "Mmm, I love
lilacs." A little while later, the woman who runs the B&B with her husband, brought me
a big bouquet of the blossoms.

Of course, the cottage isn't just flowers.

It also has a flatscreen TV and...

...stars and a table with chairs and...

...cereals and milk and...

...plenty of good things to drink (sorry, no beer).  But there is a variety of cold sodas in
the refrigerator (all free)...

...and real dishes and glassware in the cupboard...

...and mugs for coffee...

...and cool stools to sit on...

...and a big, comfy couch to sit on...

...and an even comfier chair...

...and a really relaxing rocking chair...

(So sorry, lost the photo of the bed, but it is a BIG bed with a quilt and lots of pillows.)

...and a very nice, hot shower!

The cottage is also equipped with a big sink in the "kitchen."

Some "cottage", huh?
